Some Keepers

Want some nifty snack ideas? Well the sweet people at 34 degrees sent me some samples of their whole grain and rosemary crackers…they call them crispbread.

Only 3 ingredients!

I did what any good blogger would do and called out my professional taste tester:

(aka…my brother)


He was a fan of the whole grain crackers with some cheese on them. The rosemary, not so much.


Want some other good ideas for snacks? I like things with few ingredients and real ingredients.

**I’m a snacker. I like to eat smaller amounts throughout the day. That doesn’t mean I eat all day though…just space it out evenly.

~My anatomy professor left us with a cool quote that I thought I’d share…it’s about appreciating our bodies as the miraculous things they are: "People travel to wonder at the height of mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the stars; and they pass by themselves without wondering."

  1. Love the quote. And I love the ingredient lists on your snacks, yum! I was actually surprised by the Triscuit list. Sometimes I forget that it doesn't always have to be fancy/Whole Foods type food to be good for ya:).

    I'm actually more of a meal person. I still space them out evenly and usually always have an afternoon snack, but I do better when I feel like I'm getting a full meal. I do snack a lot when I'm stressed though, but that's not the good kind of snacking:(

  5. I am soooooo a snacker. I'm sure my co-workers look at me and think "She's eating again?" I just have no energy if I don't eat every 1 1/2-2 hours.

  6. Great quote! I am a snack monster. I eat every few hours. I graze, really. I'll pack a lunch, but I'll eat it over the course of an hour. I like to make my food last! Plus, I'm hungry all the time :)

  8. I LOVE Larabars!! I don't usually buy them because they're spendy but I love the little ones I get for samples at races! Perfect size! Have a great weekend!!

    And, now I want a trio!
    I was a big time grazer until about 6 weeks ago. I finally decided to change my ways. I'm still eating every three hours, but before I must have been eating literally every hour! That is out of control snacking. Every three is perfect for me.

    Those crackers look great! I also LOVE larabars. I never realized how few ingredients Triscuits use either. Cool.

    I used to be more of a snacker than I am now, but I still love a good snack. Yogurt bowls are my current snack obsession.

  13. im a snacker!! well i like meals but i still eat 2-3 snacks a day!! i lvoeee larabars! that flavor is amazing!
