Dear Class, Having you just one day this week was the best! 2 more weeks, finals, and we are done! Dear Turkey Run, 6 years and counting, and I always love it as a way to start my Thanksgiving morning. Dear Basketball Season, The time has arrived! And I couldn't be more excited. Let's get it, cavemen. Dear Family, Just a reminder that I'm grateful for each and every one of you. Thanks for being the examples you are and loving me no matter what.

Friday's Letters
Dear Daniel, You made it to 18! Congratulations. I love you more than I love broccoli and eggs...and that's saying something! Thanks for being the perfect example of having a heart of gold and a sense of humor that always keeps me laughing. Never change ;) Dear Wellness Center, Thanks for the opportunity to work there next semester. I'm excited to learn and help people get their health back each day! Dear Running, Based off the snow that is falling outside, you'll be happening on the treadmill the next few days. Sorry about that. Dear Tandem Bikers, You get 3 gold stars for making my day when I saw you ride by. You've got it down.

Friday's Letters
Dear Thanksgiving Break, I think I'm ready for you now. Only 4 weeks, right? 4 weeks. Dear Halloween House, I couldn't believe the number of pumpkins in front of your house. Or the giant spider and ghosts. Or the purpleness of your house. But happy Halloween! Dear First Snow, You bring cold fingers, big coats, and fresh homemade cinnamon rolls. You are welcome this time, but please don't stay a while. Dear Vibrams, I apologize in advance for the amount of treadmill time you'll be getting the next few months. I'm just can't be hard core all the time.

Happy weekend!

Friday's Letters
Dear Tommy (the truck), You've made it through 4 kids in high school, a couple different colleges and lots of dance parties. I'm sad to see you dying, but you've had a good life. Dear Spinach Manicotti, You look yummy. And pretty simple. Sounds good to me! Dear Utah Jazz, It's game time! Can't wait to you ball so hard. Dear Rocky Balboa, We could all use a little tough love some times. We ain't cowards!

Friday's Letters
Dear Birthday Apple, This is what happens when you have lots of food allergies. And you know what? I don't mind one bit. Hand over the apples! Dear Halloween, I don't like you. One bit, really. But I'm glad my mom decorates in the cute Halloween way, and not that creepy way. Dear Fall Break, There is nothing like waking up early to get a run in and then being able to take a long shower and put on sweats again instead of getting ready for school. I love it! Dear Parking Job, My dad has raised me to believe the only place to park is when there is only one car on your side. And I feel guilty every time I can't find that spot at school.
Here is some weekend inspiration...have a great one!

Friday's Letters
Dear School, I think professors find it funny to schedule tests and papers all due at once. At least I enjoy my classes. And it sure is a bonus when when your class gets apples instead of candy! Dear Morning Runs, I now run in running capris and long sleeve shirts. It seems summer slipped by so fast! But I'm not complaining...until there is snow on the ground. Dear Apples, You are so fresh and big and juicy this time of year. I can't get enough! Dear Deer, After you scared me to death by running in the middle of the road while I was on my run, you just stood and starred as I took your picture. Sorry for disrupting the peace...but I just had to!

Friday's Letters
Dear Friday, You came fast this week. And the weekend will probably go even faster with work, homework, church and anything else that comes up. September is flying by! Dear McDonalds, So you've added calories to your menu. Do you think it will help people make better choices? I'm not so sure - but I guess it's a step in the right direction? Dear Thought File, For one of my classes we have been asked to keep track of our thoughts for a few days. That's pretty intense since thinking is going on constantly - but it has also reminded me of the power of our minds. What we think often turns into who we are and how we act. Dear Quinoa, Thanks for being an easy gluten free dish to take for dinner this week! Add some back beans, tomatoes and avocado and you got something that looks gourmet but only took a few minutes to put together.
Have a safe and fun weekend!

Friday's Letters
Dear Baby Allison, Thanks for joining our family! You came as a surprise 3 weeks early, but we sure do love you. Dear Fall, I'm so excited to watch the leaves change and the weather get cooler. Bring on the season change! Dear Medicine Ball Pushups, Who knew putting your feet on a little ball could make a hard move harder! The burn felt so good. Dear Classes, It's fun to go to school when you learn about things you love and are important to you. Who knew a 5 class day could go by quickly?

Friday's Letters
Dear School, It's been a good first week. Full of speed walking, textbook reading, quiz taking and self introductions. Dear high school dances, I'm glad I'm out of that phase of life...but helping my brother ask and getting a cute answer from a cute girl sure adds excitement to the week! Dear Rain Storm, there is just something about sitting in your house watching the wind blow and the rain come down that is relaxing...and even better is the double rainbow that comes out after! Dear Labor Day, how about some family time, reading and a long nap? Sounds good to me.

Friday's Letters
Dear Timpanogos Cave, You're a quick and challenging hike that I love more each time I do it. Something about the mountain air, open skies and burning legs that gets me every time! Dear REAL Salt Lake, There's a first time for everything, and it was great to watch a win for the first time! I could do without the singing for the first 5 minutes, but it was pretty dang exciting! Dear Fall, I can sort of feel you in the air. School is starting, apples and peaches are delicious, the nights are getting cooler faster. I think I'm ready! Dear Parents, I'm excited for you to take a group of girls and their dads up in the mountains today. Both of you know quite well the beauty and peace that comes from places like that, and I'm sure the girls will find it too. After they get over going to the bathroom in the bushes and eating food that tastes like whatever was last on the fire.

Friday's Letters
Dear Tim, I've never enjoyed watching someone swim so much. And feeding them bananas and allowing them to run into my kayak. Thanks for being a rockstar and letting me come along for the ride! 6 miles has nothing on you. Dear Peaches, I need an intervention. I can't get enough of you! Dear KSL, Walking out of the doors after our final meeting and handing in my badge was pretty bittersweet. So many good memories. Dear Dad, Natalie, Mom & Kellie, I love you just as much as I love Daniel. Promise.
Happy weekend, folks!

Friday's Letters
Dear KSL, It's time for your last week. I'm sad to leave the office. I'll miss the kind security guards that greet me as I come and go, the view of Temple Square, the ugly stairwells I walked up and down so many times and the kind people in the HR department. Dear Deer Creek Reservoir, My brother-in-law is going to own his 10k swim tomorrow...and I'll be kayaking beside him to see the whole thing. Front row seats, baby! Dear Summer Nights, You are the only redeeming quality of the 100 degree weather we've been having. I sure love it when the sun sets and you can stand outside without sweating! Dear Big D, Just thought you should know I love ya.

Dear Summer, You are just about over, and then it is back to the books. I can't even believe how fast it has gone!

Friday's Letters
Dear Friend, You texted me this week telling me how much you love alerts from Trisha's Training Tidbits. Thanks for making me feel good about myself and reminding me how much I do like this whole blogging thing. Dear Parents, All is well...all is well. Dear Pioneer Day, Thanks for giving everyone in Utah another
reason to let off some fireworks and have BBQs. Everyone can use another
holiday, right? Dear 13.1, I've waited so long to run you, and tomorrow each mile will be dedicated to someone important in my life. Here's to a race to remember!
